Chelsea new kit for 2021-22 with a striking zig-zag pattern 'leaked'

Chelsea's rumoured kit for the 2021-22 season has been reportedly leaked, with a design showing a striking zig-zag pattern on the body of the shirt.

The Blues are currently fighting for Champions League football next season and will hope to be playing in Europe's elite competition in their new kit, which looks to have kept the base design of the current 19-20 version, only for a couple of tweaks.

The current kit, made by Nike, is an all blue and tidy design with navy blue trim on the collar and sleeve - and this kit has kept the club's usual blue as the dominant colour but with verticle lines arrowing down.

In another departure from this season, the we can see a V-neck and a yellow Nike logo on the left hand side.

The Blues' 'leaked' design is a handful of Nike designs that have been shown off on the Footy Headlines website - including an interesting take on Barcelona's kit.

The Catalan outfit often go for verticle blue and red stripes with a tinge of yellow, and in this version they've stayed true to that tradition - but with a twist.

The stripes run all the way down the body of the kit, except for on the top right where the Nike logo is found. The design shows the stripe break off into a red cross with a blue background behind it. This cross appears to be a nod to the one that can be found on the club's badge.

It features a blue trim around the sleeves and a rounded red collar, as well as thin horizontal lines running across the shirt.

It's certainly a break from tradition, and Barcelona fans will be anxious about whether talisman Lionel Messi will be seen wearing it next season with his contract expiring this summer.

Also seen in the leaks was a new PSG kit - which doesn't differ too much from the French outfit's usual design.

Mainly dark blue with a red and white stripes running down the middle, that aspect has stayed but the red detail is slightly thinner.

And while this season's design had a blue and white pinstripe on the collar, this one has opted for just white, but keeps red and white stripes on the sleeve. It also appears to suggest that the shirt will be designed by sports brand Jordan.

While the website shows off a number of 'concept' kits based on design rumours, it also showed off a reported Tottenham kit - which goes back to an all white shirt, as seen in early Premier League years.

It features a deep V-neck and a white line running along the sleeve in a basic look for the Spurs jersey, which this season had a navy patch running along the shoulders, yellow and navy pinstripe collar and a chequered pattern on the body - a nod to the club's stadium design.
