Under 2.5 goals have been scored in eight of Fulham’s last ten league games.

Leeds have failed to score in four of their last five matches.

Fulham have scored just one goal in their last five home fixtures combined.

Leeds have failed to notch in each of their last two away tests.

Huge opportunity for Cottagers

Having inched their way towards safety since the turn of the year, Fulham could finally clamber out of the drop zone with a victory over Leeds on Friday evening, though the Cottagers could be denied three points by their lack of cutting edge.

Fulham have only lost three times in their last 11 Premier League assignments, however, they managed to notch just seven times in total during their run, and Scott Parker’s troops have failed to register three times in their last four outings.

Defensively, they remain solid however, and only runaway leaders Manchester City have scored more than twice against Fulham in a league fixture since November.

Goals dry up for Leeds

Leeds’ cavalier approach made them one of the Premier League’s most thrilling sides to watch in the early exchanges of the campaign, though Marcelo Bielsa’s side have become less threatening more recently.

United earned a useful point following a 0-0 draw with Chelsea last time out, though that was the fourth time in five Premier League matches where Leeds failed to find the net.

Tight game likely at Craven Cottage

A combination of solid defending and meek attacking play by Fulham has produced plenty of low-scoring games involving the Cottagers this year, and under 2.5 goals have been scored in eight of their last ten league games.

At Craven Cottage, Fulham have scored just once in their last five contests, and Scott Parker’s goal-shy team shouldn’t be expected to improve their output on Friday.

With Leeds also struggling badly in the goal-scoring department, the under 2.5 goals market is worth considering for their clash with Fulham, while a 0-0 correct score prediction is also favoured.

Both clubs have failed to score in three of their last four league assignments, and a stalemate in southwest London looks the likeliest outcome.

Fulham injuries and team news

Winger Bobby De Cordova-Reid misses the welcome of Leeds with an injury, but Tom Cairney and Marek Rodak are close to a return to fitness.

Neither player is expected to start for the Cottagers however, with a return after the international break more likely for both.

Leeds injuries and team news

Liam Cooper, Pablo Hernandez and Adam Forshaw will miss out for Leeds, however, there is better news regarding Patrick Bamford.

The striker is still considered a doubt, though Marcelo Bielsa suggested in midweek that Bamford should be available for the trip to Craven Cottage.
