Ilaix Moriba turned down offers from Man Utd and RB Leipzig thanks to Ronald Koeman

Ilaix Moriba has rejected the attempts of Man United and RB Leipzig to sign him as the 18-year-old wants to play under Ronald Koeman, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 18-year-old is slowly becoming a first-team player under the Dutchman.

The La Masia graduate's current contract with Barcelona expires in 2022.

He is very likely to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal if the Dutchman remains in charge of the club beyond the summer.

Moriba made his senior debut for the Catalans in the Spanish Cup win over Cornella in January.

The midfielder has featured in three games for Koeman's side since then.

Even though MD are not the most trustworthy source, this report looks like a reliable one as Ilaix apparently feels the faith Ronald has put in him.
