Koeman: Barcelona changed their mentality. I can't ask for more'

Koeman says that Barca deserved to go through for their work, humility, and recent progress.

The coach is proud of his players and of himself.

The Dutchman says that this was his happiest night as a Barca coach.

"I am very happy and very proud of this team. Hopefully, we can bring some fans to the final. As a coach, I can't ask for more than what I've seen tonight. We have changed our mentality," Ronald Koeman said after the Sevilla win.

"The team deserved it. For their work, humility and, above all, because we have improved a lot. I am proud of the players and also of myself. If you win games, you are very good. If you lose them, you're very bad.

"Is this is my happiest night as a Barca coach? Yes, it is a step to win a very important title, and as a coach, you cannot ask for more from your players. We have fought, we have played and we deserved to go through and play in the final for being the best team in both games."

After losing 2-0 to Sevilla in the first semi-final leg of the Copa del Rey, Barcelona managed to advance to the final by beating the Andalusians 3-0 at home thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele, Gerard Pique and Martin Braithwaite.
