Real Madrid dismiss possibility of a Cristiano Ronaldo return

Cristiano Ronaldo may want to return to Real Madrid, but the directors at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu are not contemplating that scenario.

Ever since returning to the Spanish capital for a visit in March of 2020, Ronaldo has considered a comeback and, after three straight years of Champions League frustration with Juventus, he'd love to return to the club where he lifted the European Cup four times.

Jorge Mendes formally offered Ronaldo to Real Madrid a few weeks ago, with Juventus considering moving on from the No.7 given the delicate financial situation in Turin, where they lost 113 million euros last term.

However, an exit from Juventus won't be easy and Real Madrid isn't a landing spot at this time.

Real Madrid are also being very careful with their finances right now, even going through the 2020 summer market without spending anything. Los Blancos are counting every euro and their priority is to try to sign young and emerging talents like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
