Real Madrid have been warned: Diogo Jota is on fire

Real Madrid will welcome Liverpool on Tuesday in the first leg of the quarter finals of the Champions League and, of the many stars they will face, the player that Los Blancos will want to be particularly wary of is Diogo Jota.

The Portuguese international has had a fantastic start to life at Anfield since his 50 million euro move from Wolves in September, despite a number of spells on the side lines.

Jota has already scored six Premier League goals this season and well as four goals in the Champions league - including a superb hat-trick against Atalanta in November.

The forward comes into the tie in sublime form after scoring against Luxembourg for Portugal on Tuesday night, as well as a double against Serbia in Belgrade on Saturday.

Jota is one of the best dribblers in the Premier League and slaloms past defenders at such speed and style.

Fans of LaLiga Santander might remember Jota from his time in Spain where he was on the books of Atletico Madrid from 2016 to 2018.

However, Jota failed to make an impact in Madrid and was subsequently loaned out - first to Porto for the 2016/17 season, and then Wolves for the 2017/18 campaign, before being sold to the later in 2018.
