Update on Pedri and Araujo Injury ahead of Barca-Sevilla clash by Koeman

Ronald Koeman is amazed at how quickly Pedri has recovered, The Dutchman doesn't rule out that both Pedri and Araujo will make the squad list.

"There are things that can hardly be explained. I was also surprised yesterday afternoon when Pedri did individual training without any discomfort and also this morning when he trained normally. I think he may be on the squad list tomorrow," Ronald Koeman has told the media ahead of the Sevilla game.

"Araujo has not been able to train with the group because he has some discomfort. Let's wait until the last training session and decide if he is on the list," the Dutchman added.

Pedri resumed group training on Tuesday, although he was initially expected to spend 2-3 weeks on the sidelines.

As for Araujo, the Uruguayan was expected to feature against Sevilla on Wednesday, but it's doubtful now.

Barca take on Sevilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, March 3, at 21:00 CET.
