Fabrizio Romano confirms Barcelona in talks with Aguero's agent

"Barcelona are in talks with Sergio Aguero agent, he’s considered 'one of the options'," reliable Fabrizio Romano has just tweeted.

The Argentine will leave Man City when his contract expires in June, the club confirmed last month.

As per Tuesday's report in Diaro Sport, the 32-year-old has already received a two-year contract offer from Juventus worth €10m per season.

Barca can't match Juve's offer but they hope that Aguero's friendship with Lionel Messi will be the key to his transfer to Camp Nou.

As for the 'one of the options' remark, the Catalans are also keeping close tabs on Memphis Depay who's also set to become a free agent in the summer.

Moreover, the Dutchman, not Aguero, is believed to be Ronald Koeman's first-choice target.
