FIFA President Infantino fires strong warning to Super League clubs
Gianni Infantino insists that it is FIFA’s task to protect the European football model.
The FIFA president warns the Super League clubs that if they choose to go their own way with this breakaway league, they’ll have to stay out.
When asked about the development of the Super League, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said: “It is my task and our task to protect the European sports model, club competitions, national teams.
“If they choose to go their own way, they must live with their choice. They are either in or out. They cannot be half in and half out.”
🗣 "There is a lot to throw away for a short term financial gain."

In another way, the FIFA president has echoed UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin’s thoughts that the Super League clubs will not be allowed to play anywhere else if they form this breakaway league.
Arsenal other premier league clubs still in UEFA competition have already been warned they’ll be banned from the Premier League and could even be kicked out of the Europa League semi-finals if UEFA find a way to do that before next week’s clash.
