Florentino Perez re-elected Real Madrid's president until 2025

Perez announced a surprise election on April 1. The electoral committee voted him into office once more, until 2025.

Funnily enough, no other candidate registered.

Florentino Perez will remain Real Madrid's president at least until 2025 after the electoral committee approved his candidacy this morning.

Perez called for elections on April 1, and many thought Flo wanted to step down this way. However, he's not resigning anytime soon.

Moreover, no one else has registered as a candidate for the elections, so Perez was voted into office unopposed.

Perez has been Real Madrid's president since 2009, after taking over from Ramon Calderon.
