Getafe vs Real Madrid Preview, Live-stream and Prediction 2021

Getafe vs Real Madrid predictions for Sunday’s La Liga clash at Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Los Blancos have won all but one of their last 14 games against Getafe and we expect that trend to continue this weekend. Read on for our free La Liga predictions and betting tips.

Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last ten league matches, winning eight.

Los Blancos are unbeaten in their last ten away trips in La Liga, winning six.

Getafe have won just one of their last dozen La Liga starts, losing seven.

The visitors are unbeaten in 14 competitive fixtures against their fellow Madrilenians, winning 13.

Los Blancos to coast at the Coliseum

Real Madrid are in prime position to strike down leaders and cross city rivals Atletico Madrid after their fine 2-1 El Classico victory last weekend and Zinedine Zidane’s side are unlikely to slip up when they take on fellow Madrilenians Getafe at Coliseum Alfonso Perez this Sunday.

Early goals from Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos secured Real’s most important domestic victory of the season at Estadio Alfredo di Stefano and they go into this weekend’s fixtures just a point behind Atleti, whose once sizeable advantage ebbed further away last weekend following a 1-1 draw at Betis.

Los Blancos are flying now after winning eight and drawing two of their last ten league starts, while they also sealed their passage to the Champions League semi-finals in midweek via a 3-1 aggregate success against Premier League champions Liverpool.

Unbeaten in their last ten away league trips (W6, D4) and victorious in 13 of their last 14 meetings with Getafe (D1), it’s no surprise that the champions are odds on for this derby encounter – and that’s before we even factor in Getafe’s dreadful form.

Los Azulones have won just one of their last 12, losing seven, and their disappointing campaign could yet end in disaster as they’re languishing 15th and just four points clear of safety with eight games left to play.

It’s hard to envisage Pepe Bordalas’ men laying a glove on Los Blancos here and we’re recommending a three point stake on the visitors, who could well repeat the 2-0 score-line which they wrapped up in February’s reverse fixture at the Bernabeu.
