Manchester United boss Ole still hopes to beat Man City in Premier League title race

United have had too many setbacks but also great comebacks this season, says Solskjaer.

The boss, however, concedes that expecting City to crumble might not be realistic.

When asked about the Premier League title race this season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in the pre-match press conference: "Of course, we’ll never give up.

"Manchester United will never, ever give up. This club has had too many setbacks and too many great comebacks to give up. It's in our DNA.

"Is it realistic? No, probably not. When you have a team that is so consistent as [Manchester] City have been, you don’t expect them to lose three games of the last six.

"As long as we do our job, we want to finish the season strong and so we'll go one game at a time."

The Red Devils take on Burnley next and a win would get us closer to City, who are 11 points ahead of us in the standings.
