Ole Gunnar Solskjaer give importanto update on Bailly's Man United future

Bailly could play on Sunday provided his tests are negative.

The boss insists there's no issues with the defender's future.

When asked about Eric Bailly, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said in the pre-match press conference: "Eric has been isolating back home in the Ivory Coast and he is back in England now and we hope he can be available for the weekend.

"Hopefully he can train tomorrow depending on how he feels within himself but he has had the tests today so we need to get the confirmation that he is still negative."

The Manchester United boss added: "Eric has played well when he has played. I know there has been speculation, we are talking to him about his contract so I don’t see any issues really."

It's a great sign that the Red Devils are in talks with Bailly regarding a new contract. The Ivorian hasn't picked up any serious injuries lately and has been available for us this term.

Victor Lindelof has played consistently over the last few games and perhaps Bailly could get a chance against Burnley this Sunday.
