Former Chelsea star Ballack distracted from racy cabaret show by UCL glory

Even an Ibiza nightclub couldn't distract Michael Ballack from the Champions League final, with the German ignoring two racy cabaret dancers beside him to focus on the game.

Chelsea lifted their second Champions League crown on Saturday night after a Thomas Tuchel masterclass over Manchester City, with Ballack supporting his former club from afar.

The ex-midfielder didn't make it to Porto for the big night but was in the perfect place to celebrate after the final whistle blew.

In the hilarious clip, Ballack is sat beside the stage at Lio, a club on Ibiza Town's marina.

The former Germany captain didn't look up once as the two dancers strutted around in skimpy outfits to Beyonce's 'Run The World', even appearing to comment on the game to a friend beside him.

Following seven minutes of nail-biting injury-time, Ballack could finally relax and enjoy the party island as Tuchel's team paraded the trophy in Porto.

Ballack played for Chelsea between 2006 and 2010, lifting the Premier League, three FA Cups and the League Cup.

His west London stint didn't extend quite long enough to be part of Chelsea's 2011/2012 season, when Roberto Di Matteo, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Co lifted London's first European cup.

The 44-year-old would have been delighted to see a crop of German stars lifting the big-eared title, with Kai Havertz scoring the winner, Antonio Rudiger putting in a monumental performance at the back, and Timo Werner playing 66 mins.
