Koeman reveals his two-game ban was something personal
Koeman was given a red card in Granada defeat after making some comment during the game and was handed a two-match ban after the panel meeting.
"I think it was something personal," Ronald Koeman told the pre-Atletico Madrid presser of his red card against Granada, as quoted by Sport.
"To say 'What a character' is not an insult. It's not a reason for a two-game ban. So yes, there's something more (to it)."
The Granada sending-off and subsequent two-match ban will see the Dutchman missing from the Atleti clash on Saturday as Barcelona's appeal to TAD has been rejected.
