Man Utd Owners Prepared To Sanction £90m Move For Harry Kane?

Manchester United’s owners, the Glazer family, are prepared to sanction a £90m move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.

The Sun report that the recent protests against their ownership have ‘hit home’ and the Glazers want to appease United fans by making a move for the England captain.

It is claimed that the Red Devils could offer £90m for the forward if he informs Spurs that he would like to leave.

Former United and Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham believes Kane is “the best number nine in the world” and urged United to “go get him” if they can.

Speaking to Bookmakers.co.uk, Sheringham said: “You’re talking about Harry Kane.

“He is the top number nine in the world for me.

“From a Manchester United point of view, if you can get him, then go get him.”

Sheringham also praised his former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the work he has done as United boss.

Sheringham believes United have “definitely improved” under Solskjaer but they are “still way off Manchester City and challenging for the league”.
