Sergi Roberto: I'm having a hard time

It's been a difficult season for Sergi Roberto, with numerous injuries and a bout of COVID-19 keeping him out of Ronald Koeman's side.

He has made just 15 appearances in LaLiga Santander, three in the Champions League and two in the Copa del Rey, and he limped off injured once again in Barcelona's 3-3 draw away at Levante last Tuesday night.

Sergi Roberto is struggling, physically and mentally

Sergi Roberto has admitted on social media that his injury problems are affecting his morale and he is disappointed that he can't help his team, who now find themselves effectively out of the title race with two games to go.

"When things are going badly you need to pick yourself up and do everything possible to change it," Sergi Roberto wrote on Instagram.

"I'm having a hard time, physically and mentally."

The versatile Catalan came on for Ronald Araujo at half time against Levante with Barcelona 2-0 up, only to see his side pinned back to 3-3 and to pick up yet another injury, which forced him off in the 85th minute.

He is trying to be positive about what's to come, however.

"I'm convinced that good times are ahead. With the hard work and positivity that I've always had, I want to get back to enjoying what I love most and be back 100 percent," Sergi Roberto penned.

"Thank you to everyone for the messages of support."
