Inter expect Achraf Hakimi bid as Milan eye Blues flop

Chelsea are set for a busy transfer window with incomings and outgoings expected at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel is expected to strengthen his side after Chelsea's Champions League triumph raised hopes they can win the Premier League title next season.

The Blues boss knows Roman Abramovich will back him for the right players, with expert negotiator Marina Granovskaia on hand to secure the best deals.

Achraf Hakimi has been the most prominently linked name after reports earlier this month said Chelsea had matched Paris Saint-Germain's £56.1million bid for the Inter Milan defender, although both were rejected by the Italian giants.

There's news on the Moroccan wing-back and an alternative target as Mirror Sport brings you the latest transfer news.

Inter expect Hakimi bid

Inter Milan are expecting PSG to bid €75million (£64m) for Chelsea target Achraf Hakimi in the coming days, according to reports from Italy.

The Nerazzurri want €80m (£68.5m) for wing-back Hakimi, who is a target for PSG as well as Thomas Tuchel's side.

It has been reported that Chelsea will try to offer left-back Marcos Alonso in part-exchange to try to prise Hakimi away from the San Siro.

But according to Sky Sports Italia, Inter could accept an imminent offer from Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Hakimi alternative states transfer preference

Chelsea have been linked with Wolves star Adama Traore if Tuchel's side can't land Hakimi.

But the Spain international has outlined his preference for a return to Barcelona if he is to leave Molineux.

“Barcelona is my home,” Traore told  RAC1 , via  Marca . “It’s the reality. I grew up since I was 10.

“From here, we will have to manage with my agents and see what role Barcelona wants.”

AC Milan are reportedly ready to offer Hakim Ziyech a Chelsea escape route

Ziyech failed to establish himself as regular under Thomas Tuchel and his future now appears to be uncertain.

Despite arriving at the club last summer, Gazzetta Dello Sport, claim AC Milan are pressing ahead with their interest in the playmaker.

Aware of his current conundrum, AC Milan are seemingly preparing to hand the winger a lifeline - but won't be able to sign him permanently, meaning a loan could be on the cards.
