Jadon Sancho's huge wages in eye-watering Man Utd contract agreement

Jadon Sancho's astronomical wages have come to light as Manchester United come to an agreement over personal terms.

It means that all that needs to be thrashed out is a fee with Borussia Dortmund - which is proving difficult yet again.

The Bundesliga club have valued Sancho at close to around £85m altogether while United are about £10m off with their first offer.

That bid was rejected but the Red Devils are expected to swoop again, this time fulfilling Dortmund's wishes.

All parties are keen on getting a deal over the line before England's first Euro match this summer when they play Croatia on Sunday.

But with time running short, that might be too optimistic a date to pick out.

Nevertheless, Sancho's camp are happy with the terms agreed and it is looking likely that the 21-year-old will be draped in red by the start of the new season.

And he will be getting paid handsomely, too, with his mind-boggling wages coming to light as well.

According to the Daily Mail, Sancho will become the second-highest earner at Old Trafford - close to David de Gea's contract worth £375,000-a-week.

But that also means he is taking home more than Paul Pogba, who is on £290,000-a-week.

In fact, Sancho will enter the top five earners in the Premier League, along with De Gea, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne.

The Daily Mail further report that the former Manchester City starlet will pen a deal that will keep him at United until 2026.

Sancho is currently with the England squad, who are looking to win Euro 2020 this summer, but the winger has admitted he is getting grilled over his future.

He told Talksport: “All the boys have a lot of questions. I just tell them - 'look, I'm just focused on football at the moment’.

"I'm cool about it. There's always going to be speculation, especially when you do well. It's just how you handle that on the pitch and just keep doing what you're doing.

"If you keep on doing that then I'm sure that won't be a problem because the main thing is my football and that's what I'm focused on at the moment."

As well as Sancho, Solskjaer has a number of targets in mind - including his England pals Declan Rice and Harry Kane.
