Jurgen Klopp ready to offload quartet in summer reshuffle

Jurgen Klopp is willing to sanction a host of Liverpool departures this summer.

The German could embark on his busiest few months in the transfer market since taking charge at Anfield.

Liverpool endured a difficult campaign last season, but that was largely down to injuries.

Klopp has already made moves to bolster his ranks with the signing of Ibrahima Konate, but more could follow.

Liverpool's attack failed to fire as it usually would and there has been talk of new faces arriving.

Four exits on the cards

Klopp is willing to allow Neco Williams, Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi and Harry Wilson to all seek pastures new this summer.

The quartet are very much on the fringes of the first team with Wilson heading out on loan to ensure minutes.

He spent the season at Cardiff City and may now seek a permanent exit following a succession of temporary spells away.

Origi and Shaqiri have been unable to become regulars in Liverpool's attack and there task has been made harder by Diogo Jota's impressive year.

Williams has played back-up to Trent Alexander-Arnold but may demand more minutes which could force him to look elsewhere.

Phillips suitors growing

Nat Phillips is attracting interest from the likes of Burnley, Newcastle and Brighton, reports Goal.

The centre-half enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign for the Reds last season as they dealt with an injury crisis.

A lack of option meant that Phillips enjoyed plenty of game time which allowed him to further his development.

With Virgil van Dijk returning and Ibrahima Konate arriving from RB Leipzig the player accepts that minutes will be hard to come by and is open to moving on.

Liverpool too are willing to sanction his exit provided the price is right.

Suarez makes Reds confession

Luis Suarez admits it would be "strange" to play for any Premier League team other than Liverpool.

Suarez's relationship with the Reds means he has been linked with a return in recent seasons, and he appeared to rule out signing for any other English club.

"Playing for any team other than Liverpool in England would be hard," Suarez told  World Soccer Magazine .

"I had, and hope I still do have, such a good relationship with Liverpool fans that it would be strange for me to play for somebody else."
