Serie A clubs ready to swoop on Barcelona departures

The Barcelona dressing room is starting to get a bit crowded after three new arrivals since the end of the season.

This means players will have to be moved on, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet over who will be shown the exit door.

The main issue for the club is that they pay their players too well, with directors having to manage players' salaries amid COVID-19.

This makes selling players quite difficult as few clubs can match such high salaries in the current climate. Players also don't want to leave one of the biggest clubs on the planet, and even less so for a wage cut.

The Premier League has financial power, and there are a few players who could be interested in a move there, but no contact has been made as of yet.

However, clubs in Serie A are already making moves, with Juventus showing interest in Miralem Pjanic and Milan looking at Junior Firpo.

Accroding to La Gazzeta dello Sport, both clubs have admirers there and are two players that Barcelona are looking to sell.

Pjanic would be happy to return to his old club and could go back on loan while those at the Camp Nou would be looking to sell Firpo permanently.
