PSG 'step up their chase for Paul Pogba and are not put off by £51m fee'

Paul Pogba is the next man on Paris Saint-Germain's radar amid a huge summer of spending - and the Manchester United midfielder would be keen to move to Paris.

Pogba is regularly linked with a move away from United, with his second spell at the club not always going as well as the fans would have hoped after his big-money return from Juventus.

And this summer is no different, with L'Equipe reporting that the Frenchman is on PSG's radar, as Mauricio Pochettino and Co continue to throw around their cheque-book in a bid to achieve Champions League glory.

Having already sealed the arrivals of Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma - plus Sergio Ramos close to finalising a deal - attention is now said to have turned to Pogba, and money is not an issue.

The French publication writes that it would cost between €50m and €60m (£43m-£51m) to seal his signature, and the move is something Pogba would relish given he is 'seduced by the idea of playing in Paris'.

Pogba said a month ago that he had 'not received any offers' - be it a renewal from United or a chance to leave - but reports claim that he would welcome one from PSG.

With Pochettino in charge, the hope was that PSG would be able to achieve their aim of winning the Champions League, but it didn't go to plan in his first season.

Not only did the French giants go out of Europe in the semi-finals against Manchester City, but they also fell short of winning the league for the first time in four years.

With big money being spent this summer, nothing but a league and Champions League double will be good enough for PSG next season.
