Chelsea boss Tuchel hints at new signings, gives update on Zouma's transfer

The transfer window is ending in 4 days but Chelsea are still linked with 2 major players - Jules Kounde and Saul Niguez.

Asked to comment on if Chelsea will be signing more players, Thomas Tuchel said: "We have still some ideas and we are trying. Not all decisions are taken. There are negotiations going on."

When inquired about Kurt Zouma's reported move to West Ham, Tuchel added: "He's not with us but not because of his negotiation, he is not with us for personal issues. But I won't lie to you, he is in negotiations with West Ham."

The deadline to make the transfers is August 31. Once Zouma's move to West Ham is done, we can expect perhaps Kounde to come in, but Saul's future is still up in the air.
