Pirlo was sacked by Juventus and replaced with Massimiliano Allegri after finish fourth in Serie A last season.
The Old Lady threw two points away in their season opener against Udinese yesterday as Luca Gotti’s side recovered from two goals down to pick up a point against the Bianconeri.
Andrea Pirlo’s son Nicolò, 18, appeared to aim a dig at both his father’s successor and Juventus fans sharing a controversial Instagram story which he later removed.
“Football is nice because it would have been only one person’s fault had Juventus suffered such a comeback last season,” the message read.
“However, that person is not there anymore.”
The message included a picture of Pirlo and the son of the former midfielder added clapping emoji.
Nicolò Pirlo removed the message after a few minutes, but he wasn’t quick enough to avoid its spread on social media.
Pirlo began his coaching career at Juventus last term and is now waiting for a new offer, either from Italy or abroad.
