Speaking to the Telegraph, former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: "Overall we have to accept that our days come to an end at some stage. I don't rule it out [returning to management], but I am completely focused on FIFA.
"I don't worry too much about the rest. There are always people who say 'You are too old' so at the time, maybe I thought they were right. But I am in good shape and I have not completely decided not to do it anymore."
Wenger, who left his role at Arsenal at the end of the 2017/18 season, now works as FIFA's chief of global football development.
The 71-year-old specialist is currently spearheading the much-criticised project to expand the World Cup and make it a biennial tournament.
