'I'm sure he's suffering now': Koeman's friend issues big update on Ronald's Barca future

"I don't know if Koeman will make it to November, the campaign is brutal against him: Cruyffistas, the lobbies of Xavi and Riqui Puig," reporter and Ronald Koeman's friend Lluis Canut has told CatRadio.

"We had dinner on Thursday and Koeman is fine, but everything is happening inside the club. I'm sure he's suffering because he loves Barca. Rafa Yuste [the vice-president] and Mateu Alemany [the sporting director] defend him," he also said.

The Dutchman's Barca future is said to depend on the next few games, although Joan Laporta is already searching for a replacement, reports claim.

The Barca board reportedly were unhappy about the Catalans' defence-minded display against Bayern Munich which is the major reason behind considering Koeman's dismissal.
