Koeman reveals Luuk de Jong more dangerous than Neymar with a cross

Ronald Koeman dropped a hint on his tactic for Barcelona's next big game - the Bayern clash, which comes up on September 14.

While speaking to NOS on new signing Luuk De Jong, Koeman said: "Barcelona doesn't have a striker you can bring in plan B and they didn't have a player like him in the past. I think every club should have a player like him, to be able to change the attack if needed.

"Luuk is a different type of attacker than we have, and I think every team should have that type.

"Luuk is more dangerous than Neymar with a cross," Koeman added.

The implication of Koeman's speech is that his team are likely to resort to diagonal crosses into the box during the latter stages of the game against Bayern Munich.

Earlier, Koeman hinted his team are likely to lineup in a 3-5-2 formation against their Bavarian rivals.
