Taki Minamino was absolutely unplayable against Norwich in the League Cup, bagging a brace in a 3-0 win.

And a Liverpool fan nicknamed jrangel6 thinks the Japanese international has everything it takes to take a step up to the highest level.

"He looked the best on the pitch the last game," jrangel6 wrote on Reddit.

"I think the issue with him has always been confidence, it's not easy settling into a new country with a new language and trying to force a spot in one of the best teams in world football.

"I personally am loving every minute of Taki’s evolution, something tells me he will be a key part of the team in the near future.

"Those finishes yesterday were extremely poised, you can’t buy that kind of composure, well, you can, it's just way more expensive than what we paid for Taki.

"The coaches are doing a phenomenal job with him, looks a totally different player than when he arrived, looks stronger too."
