Michael Owen insists PSG's attack is 'weaker' with Messi

Speaking about PSG's MNM front three, Michael Owen said on BT Sport: "As much as we drool over them, this PSG team with those forwards, they're all phenomenal players in their own right.

"But three together [with Messi] makes it weaker for me and I don't really understand why they're one of the favourites for it (the Champions League).

"I think the English teams (Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Man United) are far, far superior," Owen added.

Maurico Pochettino started the started trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe (MNM) in his attack against Club Brugge on Wednesday.

However, they failed to combine as PSG settled for a 1-1 draw.

Since then, the Parisians have come in for some intense tongue lashing from critics and fans alike.
