Revealed: PSG pay Neymar €541,000-a-month to be 'polite'

Earlier this week, Spanish outlet El Mundo unearthed previously unknown details of Neymar's monster contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

In addition to a salary of €43 million-a-year, the Brazilian receives a weekly bonus of €541,000 for being 'polite, punctual, friendly and available to the fans'.

According to Marca, every single player at PSG has such a bonus included in their contact. And it's all down to the fact that French laws prohibit employers to issue direct fines to their employees.

Therefore, should Neymar or any of his teammates act in a manner deemed to be not 'polite, punctual or friendly', the weekly bonus will be withheld. However, the money is not returned to the owner's pockets but goes to a club fund instead.
