Thomas Tuchel provides updates on Chelsea injury ahead of Aston Villa clash
N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic will miss the Aston Villa game this Saturday, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed.
"Today was the first day with everyone back. Unfortunately, we have N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic out," the boss told a press conference.
"They both got back injured. N'Golo more from the Liverpool game and we will try for Tuesday. Christian came back on crutches."
At the same time, Romelu Lukaku has 'no problems at all' after a minor injury scare with Belgium.
Kante limped off the pitch after the first half of the Liverpool clash before the international break. Judging by Tuchel's words, he might be fit for the Champions League game against Zenit on Tuesday.
Pulsic picked up an injury on international duty. The USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter described it as a slight ankle issue.
