Updated Barcelona's top earners after Griezmann and Messi departures

Bagging €71m per season, Lionel Messi was Barcelona's top earner by a long shot while at Camp Nou - that ultimately ensured his contract became too big for Barca to handle.

Messi's departure to PSG passed the top-earner crown to Antoine Griezmann, who contract gulped €36m per season.

However, while Griezmann has left Barca, on loan, for the foreseeable future, Barcelona still have some high earners left at the club.

Philippe Coutinho is now Barca's top earner with a contract that sees him take home €24m per season, as per salary sport.

Miralem Pjanic is now the second-highest earner at Barca, raking in about €16m per year.

Samuel Umtiti is the third-biggest earner at Barca with a yearly wage of about €12.8m, as per Sport.
