Chelsea striker Lukaku injury not serious but set to miss 2 or 3 weeks of action

As per the very reliable Matt Law of The Telegraph, Romelu Lukaku will miss 'at least' 2 to 3 weeks of action after his ankle injury.

The striker looked in some pain in the win against Malmo and was spotted leaving Stamford Bridge in crutches yesterday as a precaution, the report adds.

However, Nizaar Kinsella of Goal.com adds that Lukaku 'avoided serious injury' to his ankle.

Kinsella adds that Chelsea are preparing for the Norwich game without Timo Werner and Lukaku - the German is also out for at least this match, with further reports being awaited.

Kai Havertz can be expected to start as the false 9 in the absence of these strikers.
