EPL: Marina Granovskaia sets a price restriction for Hazard's return to Chelsea from Real Madrid.

Chelsea's sports director, Marina Granovskaia, has stated that the club will not pay more than a certain amount to bring back offensive midfielder Eden Hazard from Real Madrid.

Chelsea's budget for re-signing Hazard, according to Granovskaia, would be £34 million in either the January or summer transfer windows, El Nacional writes.

Hazard has failed to find his best form since joining Real from Chelsea in 2019, owing to a series of injuries.

The 30-year-old is a Chelsea fan favorite, and he is expected to be warmly welcomed back to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich, has expressed interest in reuniting with Hazard.

If he returns to the English Premier League, Abramovich is "increasingly sure" that the Belgium international will show he is still one of the top players in the world.

Before last season's UEFA Champions League semi-final match between Chelsea and Real Madrid, Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel revealed he was a great fan of Hazard.

Real Madrid is rumored to be looking to trade Hazard next year.
