After his man-of-the-match performance against Brentford in Saturday's Premier League 1-0 triumph, Rudiger sought an explanation for Mendy's Ballon d'Or omission.

Remember that the Ballon d'Or shortlist for this year was released a few days ago, and five Chelsea players were among them.
