Leicester City Ends Man United's Unbeaten Away Run In A Thriller In The English Premier League

Leicester City defeated Manchester United 4-2 in a Premier League thriller, with late goals from Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.

This was supposed to be United's easier encounter in what would be a grueling series of contests in the following weeks, but Leicester didn't seem to get the memo.

They pressed the visitors early on, causing them to make a number of blunders, and they could have been ahead if they had been more clinical in the final third.

Mason Greenwood, who appeared out of nowhere to create a yard of space on the right wing before opening up his body to send a rocket of a left foot shot into the net, helped United break the deadlock.

The hosts did well to reply quickly and to keep playing the beautiful passing game that resulted in a magnificent equalizer.

Harry Maguire was caught in possession by Kelechi Iheanacho as United attempted to play out from the back.

Youri Tielemans was subsequently found right inside the box, and the Belgian delivered a magnificent clipped attempt that flew over De Gea.

Leicester continued to control possession in the second half and appeared the most likely to score, but United rode their luck to stay level.

However, three goals were scored in the span of five minutes. alar Söyüncü was in the right place at the right time to tuck the ball into the back of the goal from a corner, and Leicester took the lead.

Then, with a brilliant run, Marcus Rashford went one on one with Kasper Schmeichel to make it two goals each.

But United couldn't hold on, as Jamie Vardy scored a superb half-volley from inside the area 15 seconds later, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

Patson Daka's daring ultimately paid off as he made it 4-2 in the last minutes of the game.

The Foxes' next two fixtures are away to Spartak Moscow in Europe, followed by a trip to London to face Brentford. In the Champions League, United will welcome Atalanta before hosting Liverpool at Old Trafford.
