Nigel Winterburn forecasts where Man Utd will finish this season in the English Premier League.

Nigel Winterburn, a former Arsenal defender, has forecast Manchester United's position in the English Premier League this season.

After seven games, Man United is in fourth place in the Premier League table with 14 points.

Last season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team finished second in the Premier League, behind champions Manchester City.

Winterburn, on the other hand, believes Man United will not win the Premier League this season.

He believes Manchester United will finish below Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool in the table.

"They are a tad lazy when they lose the ball and make it too easy for the opponents," Winterburn remarked of Man United in an interview with Paddy Power.

That is something a coach must instill in his players, and Manchester United must enhance their dirty play.

“It'll be fascinating to see if Ole can get this bunch of players to achieve it in the future. People would suggest that if Ole does not win every game, he lacks experience and that a different manager would be better, but we don't know that.

"Like it used to be under Sir Alex, winning the league is no longer a foregone conclusion." Because Manchester United was winning at home, the Everton outcome must be viewed as a loss of points.

This can't keep happening if they want to be regarded a title-challenging team; else, they'll fall short. I believe they will fall short in any case.

The other three top teams [Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool] will always come up with results when they're needed.
