Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid's LaLiga matches have been postponed.

LaLiga's request to postpone Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid's matches this weekend was granted by the Spanish Superior Sports Council (CSD).

After learning that Brazil and Argentina want to keep their Europe-based players for Thursday's fixtures, the two clubs requested that the games be rescheduled.

They would have been basically ruled out of contention to play this weekend as a result of this.

Granada will host Atletico Madrid, while Madrid will host Athletic Club.I have resolved to issue the injunction requested by [La Liga president] Javier Tebas Medrano Lopez, representing the National Professional Football League (La Liga)," based on previous considerations and applying the legal attributes placed on me.

In a statement posted on Wednesday, CSD president Jose Manuel Franco Pardo indicated that LaLiga will now have to find alternative dates for these matches.
