Marc-Andre ter Stegen might not wear the captain's armband at Barcelona, but the German goalkeeper is a powerful name in the club's dressing room.

Aware of Barcelona's disappointing start to the 2021/22 season, Ter Stegen sent a message to the club's supporters and made clear that the players will come back stronger after the international break.

"It's been a difficult start into the season. Now there's some time to analyse the situation," Ter Stegen tweeted.

"We must come back after the national team break with a strong mind and sharp mentality. Let's do this together! Come on, Barcelona!"

With Ronald Koeman under a lot of pressure at Barcelona, the club's leaders hope that this international break will serve as an opportunity to take a breather and come back stronger.
