Tuchel admit Chelsea interest in Haaland

According to many reports during the transfer window, Chelsea actively pursued Erling Haaland as a target.

Romelu Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge instead and it seemed like the Haaland pursuit was a thing of the past.

However, Thomas Tuchel has breathed new life into the transfer, telling Bild: “We have talked about Haaland a couple of times here at Chelsea.

“It looked unrealistic. Of course we talk about regularly about him.

“Sign Haaland with Lukaku? I’ve no problem to talk about that. Let us see what will happen next weeks.”

A striker partnership of Haaland and Lukaku could prove to be one of the most devastating partnerships in world football if the Blues could pull it off.

Any move will have to wait till next summer but Tuchel's words are an unexpected and exciting prospect nonetheless.
