Ugbo scores, Onuachu fires blank in Genk’s defeat to 10-man Eupen

Ike Ugbo scored his second goal of the season in the Belgian Jupiler league, but his club Genk still fell 3-2 at Eupen.

Ugbo got a surprise nod to start, for his sixth league appearance, ahead of Genk’s top scorer Paul Onuachu.

The summer signing found the back of the net in the 71st minute to give his side the lead against the 10-man Eupen.

However, the hosts responded with an 86th minute equalizer before the dagger in the third minute of added time to snatch all three points.

Onuachu came off the bench in the game for the former Chelsea man, but could not add to his 9 goals in the league this season.
