Ndidi Describes Being Back In Nigeria’s Camp As ‘Amazing Feeling’
Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi has described the feeling he being back in Nigeria’s national team camp as ‘amazing.’

This verdict from the former Nath Boys of Lagos and Racing Genk of Belgium ace summarized the emotions had had on returning to the Super Eagles, after missing their last two matches due to injury.

e360hubs.com reports that Ndidi went on to declare his love for every other player in the squad and disclosed that they are all ready to take Liberia to the cleaners in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier.

As training intensifies in the Eagles’ camp ahead of the game at Stade Grand de Tanger (starting at 4pm Nigeria time), Ndidi added that he is truly happy to be happy to be back with the Super Eagles ahead of their upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

The holding midfielder was not available for the double-header against Central African Republic in October due to a hamstring issue that kept him sidelined for around five weeks, but he is now looking fit and trim ahead of Saturday’s game.

He has recovered fully and made his comeback against Spartak Moscow in the Europa League on November 4 before going the distance versus Leeds United last weekend in the English Premier League.

That has put him back in the right physical condition in time to be in contention to add to his international caps on Saturday, ahead of which he sent a message to the Eagles’ fans and urged them to keep supporting the team.

Ndidi, who has been involved in only the opening day win against Liberia, when he went the distance during the game in Lagos, told Super Eagles Media Team: “It is amazing seeing the players.

“Getting that feeling to be back is really amazing and I’m very happy to be back with team and we look forward to what we want to achieve in the future.

“We are just trying to prepare for the game, getting all the tactics done, learning from mistakes and taking it into the game.

“Us players, we know what we want, they should just keep supporting us, we hope for the best because we have been working very hard so hopefully we come out victorious.”
