Rio Ferdinand Praise Chelsea Team Singling Out Mendy

 Chelsea displayed the quality of their squad once again, with everyone pitching in to achieve a 3-0 win against Leicester.

With the Blues getting contributions from across the team, Rio Ferdinand was quick to praise them while also singling out one player.

Ferdinand told BT Sport: "You can go through this team, and everyone is playing at a seven and above.

"Great goalkeepers and players get called upon every so often. It's about the concentration and coming up at the right moments, and he [Mendy] did that.

"He has been magnificent, and the clean sheets are massive at the moment. Every single player, even the ones coming on, are impacting the game."

Mendy leads the Golden Glove race outright after this latest clean sheet, having shut out the opposition on 7 occasions already this season.
