BarΓ§alona had to be content with a 1-1 draw against Sevilla yesterday even though Barca deserved to win the game. Of course, every Barca fan had hoped that BarΓ§alona would win the majority of the very first games under Xavi in a dominant way, but anyone who approached the matter realistically knew that it would be unlikely in Barcelona's situation.

A new coach will need time to implement his ideas, get to know the entire squad better and learn from mistakes. Xavi came at a time when Barcelona is/was at their lowest point in a long time.

Xavi is a long term-project, he is a young coach who will make mistakes and the challenge for Xavi will be to learn from his mistakes. Xavi needs the trust and patience of the fans even if Barca have not won all games under Xavi so far.

Still Some improvements are visible in most of the games that we played under Xavi so far such as better pressing, playing more calmly out of the back, the  passing in half of the opponent and the intensity is getting better and better. Despite some improvements in such a short time, Xavi still has some work to do but I am sure that when Fati, Pedri etc return from their injuries and if we are able to make 1-2 signings in the winter window, then Barcelona will be a different team in the second half of the season.

Barcelona lost it's identity on and off the field throughout the last season's and it will take some time before we will be back at the level we once were, Xavi won't change the entire club in just a few weeks or in 2-3 months but hopefully  in time Barcelona under Xavi will be a whole new Barcelona.

What I like most about Xavi so far is the honesty with the fans when we have lost or played badly. Xavi did not try to find excuses for bad performances like a former coach, Xavi didn't bully young players in public to protect himself or when Barca played badly Xavi never presented himself to the press and said "We played well".

If a coach is honest and transparent with himself and with the fans it indicates that the coach can recognize his mistakes and improve. Rome wasn't built in a day, I think we are on the right track and Barca will soon to return to where Barca belong's.
