Haaland reveals key trait he's learned from Jamie Vardy

Erling Haaland has revealed that he’s modeled one aspect of his game from Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

He told Sky Sports: “I’ve been watching a lot of players, let’s take for example the run in behind the centre-back when the No 10 has the ball.

“You have maybe the best in the world at that, Jamie Vardy. I’ve been looking a lot at him on exactly this.

“I have always been watching a lot of football and I still do. When we play Saturday, I go home on Sunday and watch football all day.”

Vardy has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League over the last 5+ years, excelling for Leicester.

In the Foxes’ incredible title-winning season, he scored in 11 consecutive league games – becoming the first-ever player to achieve the feat.

The 35-year-old has made 261 appearances in England’s top division, scoring 127 goals and is still going strong – having scored 9 goals so far this season.
