Leo Messi reaches negative expected goals stat for the first time in 12 years

Lionel Messi's widely-publicised move to Paris Saint-Germain is clearly not going according to plan for everyone involved.

Although the Argentine has scored five goals in the Champions League this season, his Ligue 1 tally has been nothing short of abysmal.

The 34-year-old has one goal in 12 domestic fixtures, which means that his expected goals stat (xG) stands at negative for the first time in his career.
