Moses Simon: Sudan Can’t Stop Us, We Are On A Mission

Moses Simon has said that the Super Eagles are capable of winning the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

The winger who shone brightly in the group D opening match against Egypt on Tuesday told e360hubs.com that the team has all it takes to win their fourth Afcon title in Cameroon.

“We are a very hungry and very focused team desirous of making a name for ourselves. Every player wants to win a major international tournament for his country. I believe we can win the AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

“We have very good players in the team, our dream is to win the competition and we shall win it.”

Looking ahead to Saturday’s second group match against Sudan, the Nantes of France forward was bullish about the team’s credentials and said the Falcons cannot stop the Super Eagles.

“We won’t underrate our opponents but continue from the game against Egypt to make sure we earn the three points and qualify for the next stage of the tournament. We are ready for any team.”

Nigeria currently lead their group and will qualify for the knockout stage of the Afcon tournament with victory against Sudan on Saturday.
