Romelu Lukaku 'surprised' at brutal fallout with Chelsea after explosive interview

As per journalist Dean Jones, Romelu Lukaku's intention was not to engineer a move away from Chelsea during his controversial interview with Sky Italia.

The striker basically revealed that he's 'not happy' at Stamford Bridge and would even love to return to Inter Milan, despite joining the Blues for a whopping £97.5 million just six months back.

And now, it appears the Belgian is 'surprised' at the fallout with Thomas Tuchel after being dropped from the squad to face Liverpool on Sunday.

The reporter adds that Lukaku was 'advised' to not go ahead with the unauthorised interview for this very reason. Unfortunately, he chose not to pay heed to those concerns.
