Mbappe told he'll never play for Madrid if he accepts short-term PSG extension

Kylian Mbappe has been told that he will never be able to fulfil his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid if he backtracks on the informal agreement with them, Times Sport report.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are trying to convince Mbappe to sign a short-term contract the financial terms of which would exceed those offered by Madrid.

The Parisians hope to keep Mbappe for at least one more year as they want him, Neymar and Lionel Messi to represent them at the 2022 World Cup.

The Frenchman's contract at PSG is set to expire at the end of the season. After failing to sign him last summer, Real Madrid want to bring him on free agency this time around.

This term so far, the 23-year-old has made 33 appearances for PSG, contributing with 22 goals and 16 assists.
