Fastest player in the Premier League revealed — it's not Salah or Sterling

When we talk about players sprinting on the football pitch, we usually picture forwards dashing for the ball.

However, it was revealed earlier this week that the fastest player in the Premier League this season is actually a centre-back.

Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger has the highest recorded top speed in the English top flight so far in 2021/22, clocking in at 36.7 km/h against Brighton.
